ITCFSAN CHIFSS Online Training Series on
'General principles of Microbiological Sampling for Food Safety Officers’ PAN India, 2022

In its endeavor to strengthen knowledge sharing & dissemination on food safety in High-Risk Category, a Knowledge Series of online trainings for PAN India in partnership with ITC-FSAN-ICMSF and FSSAI have been developed by CHIFSS.
  • The series consists of online training sessions for Western and Eastern, Northeastern Southern and Northern regions catering to both Central and State Food safety Officers( FSOs)

  • The training also have provision of certificate, provided on the basis of exam taken after the session.

  • Over 1100+ FSOs(State and Centre) were trained from the following states: Odisha, West Bengal, Jharkhand, Sikkim, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Goa, Chhattisgarh, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Telangana, Lakshadweep, Daman, Diu, Andaman & Nicobar Islands. FSOs from all North-eastern states: Arunachal Pradesh, Tripura, Manipur, Mizoram, Meghalaya, Nagaland were covered in the training.

  • The feedback on the program has been excellent, especially on the utility of the course and regulatory aspects. The direct forum for addressing technical queries and operational constraints of the FSOs during sampling has been greatly appreciated.
